WordPress Keyboard shortcut keys – a quick reference

WordPress is being used by many bloggers as a platform for their blogs. I have personally used blogger, WordPress platforms and now I use WordPress on my self hosted blog, UnoBlogger.com.

Blogging as we know is a time consuming affair and most of the time gets exhausted in drafting an article. There are other tasks that take away much of our time and once of it is using the tool bar for adding media, making a particular text in bold, etc.

It makes absolute sense to have short keys which will quicken the task of drafting an article on your blog. WordPress provides us with shortcut keys for many of the taks that we do while blogging. These shortcuts are provided below for you to take advantage of.

Bold: Alt+SHIFT+b

Italics: Alt+SHIFT+i

Link: Alt+SHIFT+a

Undo: Alt+SHIFT+u

Redo: Alt+SHIFT+y

Blockquote: Alt+SHIFT+q

Unquote/outdent: Alt+SHIFT+w

Code: Alt+SHIFT+c

Read More: Alt+SHIFT+t

Unordered List (ul): Alt+SHIFT+u

Ordered List (ol): Alt+SHIFT+o

List Item (li): Alt+SHIFT+l

Advanced Editor: Alt+SHIFT+v

Publish the Post: Alt+SHIFT+p

Insert: Alt+SHIFT+s

Delete: Alt+SHIFT+d

HTML Edit: Alt+SHIFT+e
