Google has been making many changes to their advertising wing which include usage of Double Date Cookies, interest based advertising etc,. This means that it is important for web browsers/internet users to know that their every move is going to be watched by Google. Based on their interests specific interest based advertisements are going to be served to these people.

This is a huge development in terms of usage of technology like DART and cookies. This breaches the customer’s privacy to an extent and that is the reason why the customer is to let known of this development.

As of April 8, 2009, Google is requiring AdSense publishers to update their privacy policy with information about Google use of cookies for serving advertisements and how visitors can opt-out of those cookies.

The privacy Policy for UnoBlogger.com has been updated and the same can be checked here, ‘Privacy Policy for www.UnoBlogger.com

Users can choose to opt out of the use of the Double DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

This has been made very clear by Google that, “You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your user’s browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management“.

It is imperative that publishers who have opted to publish Google Adsense on their blogs or websites publish the privacy policy as stated by Google. Non adherence would be viewed as non compliance and can be leading to your Google Adsense account suspension.

You can create your own policy through the below websites or taking the websites below for reference
