The newly launched Microsoft’s search engine is gaining popularity. It has amassed huge traffic in it’s first month of launch. This gain in popularity was recorded on this blog titled, ‘Bing, the Microsoft Search Engine is gaining popularity

This sort of a gain is sure to make bing.com another popular search engine in the near future. When Bing.com is to compete with search engines like google and yahoo, it becomes imperative that we are listed on bing.com. Imagine being served to searchers on bing.com, the greater our presence on bing.com search results the greater are our chances to attract more traffic.

In this post we will see how to submit your blog to bing search engine. There is an url that Bing.com has provided for us to submit our log url.

This url will take you to a page that looks as below

This is the page that will inform the MSNBot about your blog. This will trigger the MSNBot start crawling your site. These crawls from Bing.com will ensure your blog and it’s pages getting indexed on bing.com search engine.

There are two fields to fill, one is the captcha field and the other is the field for your to fill your website address (URL). Once these two fields are filled, click on the submit URL button.

Once you’ve submitted the URL the MSNBot will start to crawl your website and your blog should be indexed within 30 days depending on the traffic Bing.com is experiencing.

Bing isn’t the only search engine, there are other search engines as well. These also have to be intimated about your blog for them to start crawling your website.
